How do you feel about scary movies? I'm not really a fan. Especially those true-to-life movies... like your child's been kidnapped. No thank you. Don't need those bad thoughts in my head. These days I'd much rather see comedies or musicals.
Oh... and I'll probably be seeing Shades of Grey when it comes out.
I know. It's not a comedy or musical.
Just a red room mostly. LOL
Anyway... when Bryn told me she'd like to see "Monsters University" I said YES right away. She hasn't wanted to see any animated movies in a couple years, as "she's too old for that"... at the ripe old age of 12. Sheesh. She invited a couple friends & I invited friends. It was a cute movie. And since I got a few cute iPhone photos afterward... I figured I ought to put it in the scrapbook.
I used Nikki Sivils' My Little Monster collection for the page. Such a cute collection, but it's probably more geared toward younger kid-themed pages. Who knew I'd have a reason to use it again? And while the monsters in this collection don't look like the monsters in the movie... I think it still works.
And the big 3D glasses at the top of the page? I just put mine from the movie on my copier & ran through a piece of white cardstock. So... they are actual size.
And of course... I do love googly eyes. Can't have monsters without those!
I also added a ticket stub to the page so I can remember just how freakin' expensive it is to go to a movie these days. And if it's a 3D movie.... add an extra $3 to the already over-priced ticket.
Although I pretty sure some day we'll look back & think... "Wow! Look how cheap it was to go to the movies back then."
Looking forward to teaching a couple extra Zumba classes this week starting tomorrow... my favorite day of the week!
