Happy last day of November... and only 25 days until Christmas Eve. Good grief, I'm not ready yet... I've barely started my shopping.
Just a couple quick things to share today after a fun weekend in Myrtle Beach...
First time there for both of us.
A little too chilly for swimsuits, but we did get to see the ocean and spend time outdoors. I'm sure it would be a fun place to visit during the summer though! Kinda reminded us of Branson.
Anyone else ever been there?
Received a message from a friend today saying she heard a Todrick Hall song and it reminded her of me. Love me some Todrick Hall!
If you've attended my Cardio Dance classes over the years, you may have noticed that I've used several of his songs.
And if you're as old as I am, you probably loved Miss Mary Mack as a youngster too. You'll get the gist of that in the song below. LOL
But since we're on the subject, I thought I'd share one of the videos we shot recently that is coincidentally a Todrick Hall song.
Oh how I miss dancing with all my friends!!!
Also saw this list recently and wanted to share.
Definitely some solid advice here...
- Compliment three people every day.
- Watch the sunrise at least once a year.
- Be the first to say, "hello."
- Live beneath your means.
- Treat everyone like you want to be treated.
- Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen.
- Forget the Joneses.
- Never deprive someone of hope. It may be all he has.
- Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.
- Be tough-minded but tenderhearted.
- Be kinder than necessary.
- Don't forget, a person's greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.
- Keep your promises.
- Learn to show cheerfulness, even when you don't feel like it.
- Remember that overnight success usually takes about 15 years.
- Leave everything better than you found it.
- Remember that winners do what losers don't want to do.
- When you arrive at your job in the morning, let the first thing you say brighten everyone's day.
- Don't rain on other people's parades.
- Never waste an opportunity to tell someone that you love them.
