Recently wrote a blog at Bloom Fitness Studio regarding your TIME... how you spend it and who your circle of influence is MATTERS greatly. Content was pulled from a chapter in a book we read 50 Ways to Yay during our last book club. The book is a fast read, but full of ways, 50 to be exact, to add more positivity to your life. Highly recommend!
Since I try to be purposeful in making my own circle of influence as positive as I can... and thankfully my job is a huge part of that... I try to also do the same with who & what I follow on my social media pages.
Ed Mylett is someone I follow on Instagram... among many other people I find inspiring or influential in a positive way. He's an author and speaker. Thought I'd share what he posted the other day because I think it ties in well with the subject of time & how temporary our time really is in this life.
"151,600 people passed away yesterday. They don’t get another day on this earth. No more second chances.
The gift that is this life, passed away with them.
What a shame it was for those of them who left this earth never LIVING their LIFE.
Dying full of unfinished business. Unfulfilled Dreams. Memories that don’t exist. Joy that was never felt. Differences that were never made. Moments that never happened. A life that will be forgotten and not remembered.
For those who never lived on their own terms, I feel sad.
For those who showed the COURAGE not to CONFORM to the way their FAMILY, FRIENDS or FEARS told them they should be, I CELEBRATE them.
Stop living your life on the terms other people have set for you.
This is your ONE PRECIOUS LIFE.
Be YOU!
Do YOU!
You aren’t getting out of this life, ALIVE.
So nothing to fear.
You were born to do something great with your life. In your own special way.
Live it all out
Live it on your terms, my friend. Only then will you have no regrets #maxout"
How are you living YOUR life? Are you driven by your faith or your fears?
Are you living your life on your own terms or the terms other people have set for you?
This can be said of your relationships, your job, your hobbies. What or who is it that's holding you back from doing something great with your life?
In all likelihood, it's you holding you back.
And frankly by not living your life on your own terms, it's just a matter of time before it manifests itself in a negative way, through coping behaviors or even addictions like over-eating, alcoholism, gambling, etc.
Your life is YOUR story. Edit your chapters & the main characters intentionally and often...
XOXO
That is just amazing!
