Yesterday when Bryn left the house at the butt crack of dawn, I was looking out the front door window & watching her walk down the street to the bus stop as I do every morning. All of a sudden from out of the bushes walks what initially appeared to be a cat (we have one in the neighborhood that likes our yard for some reason)... only at closer glance it was definitely NOT a cat & it was slowly moving toward the front porch.
It was disgusting. So I started kicking the front door in attempt to make it run far far away. Not only did it ignore me, it walked into this stupid opening below the front porch step that somehow formed over the years as the foundation settled.
Like for all I know this disgusting rodent picked our house to hibernate under this winter.
So I was telling Bryn that #1... I'm never going out the frickin front door again. And #2 it was either a possum, a large mole, a rat or a naked mole rat (a description she loves to use lately & frankly I've never heard of a naked mole rat so I'm not sure where she learned it).
This lead to her asking Siri to find images of these disgusting animals so I could determine what it was that I saw.
Why does she even need to ask Siri to find this?
Are her fingers broke & unable to type from too much texting?
Anyway... she kept asking Siri for a naked mole rat. Only her pronunciation of it sounded more like MALL RAT.
Siri was not amused.
Siri apparently doesn't want to look up anything naked, especially a mall rat.
Thank goodness she didn't. I can't imagine what images we might see... ummm just no.
I was getting aggravated that she couldn't just type it into google after saying it no less than a half dozen times without luck, so I said to her (not realizing Siri was listening to me) "Say mole rat NOT naked!"
OMG. Seriously? We were both laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes!
And yes, I agree Siri. She does need to get a life. Or at least get off her phone once in awhile.
And nope it wasn't a naked mole rat after all, although she did point out that the hair on her legs looks like the hair on it's face.
Uh... shave much?
And by the way... I believe it was a possum.
Disgusting.
The end.
This post has got tears rolling down my face! HA!! Toooooooooooo funny!!! And I got your package!! Thank you my friend ... been a whirlwind with Brookie's party and Brian leaving ... so I am trying it this weekend! :)
