TGIF! Finished up the week with an awesome group at Zumba today... with even a couple of my friends driving about 30 minutes just to do my class (love them!). So very thankful for ALL the awesome people this job has brought into my life. Really. I could not be more thankful! Such a blessing!!!
And if my morning wasn't already awesome enough... I came home to an amazing new railing. I almost started jumping up & down, but told the guys installing it that I was going to contain myself. So unlike me.
FINALLY!!!
This has been about a 2 month process... but SO worth the wait. And actually I've been waiting about 14 years for a more contemporary railing... so to see it come to life makes me very happy.
We started with getting the old carpet ripped off the steps. Our contractor put in hardwood, stained a dark mahogany.
That difference in itself actually looked so beautiful that I told him I almost didn't even care that we had an extremely hazardous open hole in our kitchen for over a month before the railing was installed...
But the project was completed today...
Huge thanks to my contractor, David Walker, and to Missouri Ornamental Iron Company for making it all happen!
Evidently this is only the 3rd time they've ever made this type of rail design. And one other time was for a news Channel 4 anchor's loft. Pretty cool.
And on that note... I better start packing. We are headed to the desert for Thanksgiving.
Warm weather, family & friends... couldn't be more thankful...
wow LOVE LOVE LOVE what you did!! great job and your house is so beautiful!! I enjoy coming to ur class sooo much!
