I do what I have to do to get to my craftroom... even if it means walking out the deck door, down the steps, across the patio & into the basement door... since that's where my craftroom is located. And don't think I won't climb through a window either. You can't keep me away.
During one of my many trips outside/inside... which is probably becoming confusing & intriguing to any watchful neighbors... I walked out onto the patio at around 10:30pm in the dark & had a random cat jump out & scare the crap out of me. It's not the first time this cat has been seen around my house either. In fact, if it's the same cat I think it is, it gave birth to kittens on our front porch last year.
Not only are my daughter & husband allergic to cats, but I also texted my friend who's highly allergic & told her to stear clear of my house for awhile. Sooooo weird.
Oh & I'm not the biggest cat lover either. Why does this cat love us so much?
Anyway... the reason for this craziness... our steps are finished & need to dry a couple days before we walk on them. And even then, it's no shoes for at least a week. And they are freakin' amazing. It's an insurance man's nightmare around here though, so it's a good thing Bob has sold himself plenty of liability coverage because we have no stair railing for awhile.
We ripped out the carpet & wood railing...
And now have very dark stained wood in it's place... with an iron rail that will eventually be installed.
Small children & drunk people or anyone with limited sight or balance, are not welcome in my house for awhile... LOL
The pictures don't really do it justice. If you're local & ever looking for an awesome contractor though, I can refer you to him. Very very happy with his work.
And this is a big weekend for Bryn. Gateway Region club volleyball try-outs are on Saturday & Sunday. She has 3 try-outs she's picked out of many many teams from which to choose... 2 on Saturday & 1 on Sunday... unless she's selected to be on the team she's really trying for on Saturday & then there's no need for the Sunday try-out. She's a little nervous but I think she's ready.
But first Zumba on Saturday on morning... and THEN we hit the volleyball courts.
Priorities... BOOM.
Yeahhhhh that is looking kinda dangerous! LOL!! Thank goodness you know a good insurance guy *wink* :) And that is soooooo weird about the cat -- there has been one hanging around my back yard lately ... which is odd -- I am only out there when I am with Dandy -- cat meet dog, he doesn't like cats -- so you are stupid for coming in here! LOL!!!
