There's something very cool about Zumba people. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of a "family" of friends that have as much fun working out in class, as we do outside the gym. And the more you get to know people... the more you realize that everyone has a story to tell. And what bonds us all... is that Zumba is that one thing that makes you smile no matter what else is going on in your life.
It's Zumba LOVE.
Last month was "Heart Month" for the American Heart Assocation. I attended 2 Zumbathon fund raisers organized by my instructor friend from the Y, who suffered cardiac arrest during a Zumbathon the year prior, and who's life was saved due to immediate CPR.
The American Heart Association chose to tell her story. I attended this Zumbathon where this video was shot, which also includes a reinactment of what took place on the night she received CPR. I wasn't there on that particular night, but remember hearing about it immediately after it happened. It was pretty scary.
Zumba love...
God, CPR and Zumba LOVE for sure.

wow. after my scare last May, it made me rethink a lot of things. I am so glad I have been trained in CPR because of my job and would never hesitate now seeing this video. Action makes all the difference. Thanks for sharing this Deana!
