Well... another week has apparently come and gone without too much happening on this blog. I'm on Facebook regularly & occasionally on Instagram (mostly to keep up with what Bryn is posting on there ;-), but my blogging seems to be happening less frequently lately. Whoopsie. And it's not because I'm lacking on anything to blog about... I've been quite busy... but it's partially because my design responsibilities are currently non existant. So lately, creating is happening just for FUN... a good thing, of course!
If you follow Nikki Sivils' blog, you've already seen this post a couple weeks ago about her indecision with the future and whether she's going to create new collections for the Winter 2013 CHA trade show. I, along with my friend Julie, have been designing for Nikki since day #1 of her company hitting the industry 3 years ago, so I will be really sad if she decides to make a career change. It's been nothing but the most positive experience working with her & creating with her products. I'm a huge fan of her paper crafting products, for sure! I adore Nikki... as a person, designer and business owner. But I wholeheartedly agree in following your heart & doing what's right for you, right now. And whatever she decides to do, she'll be a success for sure!
And speaking of Nikki Sivils... I made this page last week using some of her It's Your Day collection, some SRM birthday stickers & some other random coordinating stash I had on hand...
I'm looking forward to a very FUN week ahead, including the Madonna concert on Thursday! And I even have a new Zumba class beginning this week that I'm helping to teach every few weeks at the butt crack of dawn... Tuesday mornings at 5:30am. Whoa... gonna be different I tell ya... but lots of FUN!
Oh... and I dropped my iPhone 4 for the 500th time on Thursday and totally cracked the front of it. Yay me. Good news though! Bob called & I was eligible for an upgrade to the 4S for $99.
Hoping my new phone comes in the mail tomorrow. The little slivers of glass in my finger from too much texting, is kinda getting old...
You are gonna make cry with that Nikki bit :)

5:30, talk about HARD CORE!!! You have always been such an ambassador for Nikki S, it will be sad if she makes a career change but you know you represented!!!! Here is yet another shining example!

I know Nikki's decision is a tough one. But I completely agree--she has to do what is best for her and her family in the long run. You always rock her products. Love this LO!
I've been going to a cardio class at 5:30. It is early but I love how it starts my day. :)

That must feel odd to have NO design team commitments. Come January, I'll be in the same boat and, to be honest, I'm kind of looking forward to it! Cute layout with Nikki's papers :)
