Yesterday was the Mother's Day Tea at school. It is a special performance & celebration that is only for the third graders. Each grade level at Bryn's school has something special they do during the school year. For the third graders it's for Mother's Day. So, this was finally the year to see what all the talk was about. I had heard it was a tear-jerker. To make it even more emotional, I was surprised yesterday to find out that Bryn had been selected as 1 of the 2 people from each 3rd grade class to read an essay about their mom in front of everyone. Here's what she read...
They sang several songs & even did a little performance with the book "I Love You Forever", which just happens to be a book that brings tears to my eyes every single time I read it. And we've been reading it since Bryn was teeny tiny.
It was the best afternoon ever & she really made me feel special with everything she made for me & all the things she wrote about me. She stared at me & smiled for the entire performance yesterday. That alone was enough to make me swell with pride. For the rest of my life I'll never know how I could get so lucky to have been blessed with Bryn as my daughter, but I'll be forever thankful...

That was a beautiful day to remember! Happy mothers day Deana!
