Friday night was fun because my niece, Sydney, had a sleep-over at our house! Since we live almost an hour away from each other, we met her half-way between our houses to pick her up. Then we had dinner at Bravo before heading back home. It really is hard for me to believe these girls are 8 1/2 years old already. Time flies at lightening speed. I wish I could slow it down a bit...
When I emailed that photo to family over the weekend, my dad sent back this next one that he still uses as the wallpaper on his computer. I think they were about 3 years old in this one...
Quite a bit has changed since then... like no more bangs for one. Oh how I miss those days.
Anyway, back to the present day. They spent most of their time Friday night & Saturday morning in the craft room... making stuff & watching The Suite Life of Zach & Cody. Lots of giggling going on around here, too. I was very happy to have her around and of course, Bryn was too! I made a few layouts for future challenges while the girls were crafting.
Saturday night, Bryn & I made some buttons & embellishments with polymer clay. I'm making a list of potential ideas for my ART CAMP this summer and I think this might end up being on the agenda. I love Bryn's hamburger with the sesame seed bun. I should've taken a better photo of it, as she had the burger, lettuce, cheese... too cute! It's in the top right-hand corner...
You may just see these pop up again on a layout or two... wink, wink!
Off to Zumba! Happy Monday!
Sounds like a fun time! The girls are too cute.
I know what you mean about time passing too quickly. I was playing "baby" w/Alison last night (pretending she was a baby, giving her a bottle, etc.) - and I thought, "How has it been that long ago, that I was giving her real bottles?" Ahhh....
Love the clay embellishments - really cute!

Those are so cute....I taught a little class to make buttons but we used vintage buttons and pressed them into the clay to replicate the design on the vintage buttons. Yours are so creative, bright and cheery. fun, fun, fun, can't wait to see your creations. Hugs, Amy
