The December HIP 2B SQUARE kit is SO cute! It's perfect for holiday AND non-holiday photos... & I scrapped BOTH! Here's the main kit...
... and the add-on kit...
I made 6 layouts + 4 cards in a little more than 1 day. I think that's a new personal record. It was easy though. Everything is so cute & well-coordinated. You can't help but get inspired by it all!
Just a fun layout here. The background is pretty busy, but since there's so much white in the photos, I thought it would work. I machine-stitched over my red border strips. Also used the American Crafts buttons packaging on here...
Here's the first layout I made from the kit. Knew I wanted to use that airplane for these photos. Since I used so many photos & there's a lot of different colors in the photos, I wanted to keep the rest of the layout simple. Always room for scalloped-edge borders though. (Will I never tire of those?)
On the next one, I made my own scalloped-edge borders on the bottom & then machine-stitched over both. I probably should've drawn my scallops before cutting them, but perfection is just so overrated...
I added a lot of bling to this one... on the tree & on the snowflakes. I also cut some "snow mounds" for the bottom of the page, using the same paper as my background, but inked the edges & then added pop dots behind it to further define it...
More scallops here so it would work with the green Prima packaging that I used...
This ended up being my favorite page from the kit & it was a total after-thought. My printed journaling ended up slightly crooked after I fed the paper through my printer, so I had to tilt it all to the side to make it less obvious. I also made my own title letters with the cardstock...
I don't know why I love this little pocket card so much, but I do. I don't even drink coffee either. But I found these little coffee packs in the pantry that Bob got from Starbucks a couple months ago & decided to use one of them when I saw the little coffee mug sticker on the October Afternoon sheet. Then I added some bling as my "steam..."
Bob thinks I should sell them to Starbucks. But that's the only coffee mug sticker I have, so sadly that won't work.
A few more basic cards that I plan to use as thank you notes...
I made this extra card after I finished my kit using some left-over scraps. I also added the chipboard trim & a little pearl (both from previous kits)...

I am totally impressed and amazed at your creativity with the kit - you were definitely inspired and every single item is outstanding! I love the cookie layout - the photos are awesome (guess I have a special reason for loving them) and the coffee thing is too cute! You have a real talent for card making - I think I need some lessons - and oh yeah, I love how you used the CP airplane on your LO about your AZ trip. Super super work! Have a great day and try to stay warm!
