... is HMMM... one that doesn't break down, get a flat tire or leave me stranded on the side of the road like a sitting duck, I suppose. Aside from that, I also love driving an SUV because the view from above makes me feel a lot safer than when I'm in a smaller car these days. I do not enjoy when Bob insists we have to take his Volvo out because it gets better gas mileage & it's easier for him to park. Not me... I can park the SUV with my eyes closed. My first car that my parents bought for me to drive, & then share with my sister when she was old enough, was affectionately called the "party car." If you were in the passenger seat & went over a puddle, your feet would feel it. It was transportation, I guess, but I wouldn't exaclty have called it reliable. Beggars can't be choosers though.
And quite frankly, none of this really matters to you except that it's the next challenge up at the These Are A Few of My Favorite Things blog. And since for weeks I was trying to get inspired by what exacly my favorite car is... I went with a card using the lyrics that just kept running around in my head as I was thinking about what to create...
The car & the "index card" came from a 2010 cheapie calendar I bought for $1 to hang in the pantry on the bulletin board. And what else can I say except it's my lame excuse at a favorite car project! LOL!
Check out the blog for more inspiration! And you know there's always prizes up for grabs!
you seriously crack me up! you are one funny gal. haha.
ummm, and i'd LOVE to see you park your tahoe with your eyes closed. now that would be the day! ;)
anyway, your card makes me laugh. it's ADORABLE!
hugs,
sarah.

You are too funny!!!! It's a cute card. When I saw the challenge, I knew exactly what I going to do because I knew that I had that polaroid taken at the dealership. Absolutely no other thought involved - but then after I saw some of the other layouts, I started thinking about cars I or we have owned - some good and some bad. Have a great week!
