Thinking about the upcoming year with an open heart, mind, body & soul. Have been making a list of things I'd like to do more & a couple things I'd like to do less + goals to accomplish. I work well with lists, especially when I keep it somewhere that I can see it regularly. Planning to do another GOALS layout like this one, so I can hang it in the craft room like I did in July...
It was not a list of RESOLUTIONS, but more a list of short & long-term goals that I had. I accomplished 7 of the 16 goals. (Looks like "reconciling the checking account every month"... rather than every 4 or 5 months... is going on next year's list again!)
Anyway, I mentioned this once before, but THANK YOU to each & every one of you wonderful friends I have known forever & those I have only met this year in this forum. This blog was created in February '08 simply as a way to get more involved in the online world of scrapbooking with the goal of someday getting published. I never dreamed anyone would care to read it (other than the select 3 people I told about it... my husband, Sally & Stephanie... who I thought would not judge me for what I'm sure they thought was kind of silly)... let alone leave sweet comments that would make me smile daily. This has been such a great experience getting to know people that share the same passion for creating & whether I eventually meet some of you or not (meeting Julie in a couple weeks!)... know that you've made a difference in my life. I'm endlessly inspired by your art & your comments brighten my day. Honestly, I even remind myself of the encouragement you give with regard to my running... it HELPS more than you can imagine!
So... best wishes for a HAPPY, HEALTHY & PROSPEROUS 2009...
Hugs... Deana
Well, have a wonderful blessed year my dear! You and your beautiful family deserve it. I so envy you for meeting Julie. She is such a wonderful person. Her comments on my (childish) layouts motivated me not to quit! I wish you the best with your new goals for this coming year. I think I need to reflect and do those myself this week! Lol...Happy 2009!
