"It's just another manic Monday..."

Well, it's Monday... and I have to say, I'm looking forward to Tuesday.  There's something about that monthly massage at Massage Envy that makes me feel like I don't have a care in the world.  Even if it is only for an hour... LOL

Here's something that put a smile on my face today... this sweet memory from back in May that I finally got around to documenting.  Just a random mix of products here... so what else is new?   And of course, at least one SRM sticker always finds it's way onto my pages these days.  The "celebrate" sticker was actually from an anniversary-themed set, but it works for any celebration & I liked the gold color for this page...  

I machine-stitched my border and used a Bazzill Just The Edge border strip with some Nikki Sivils' Burlap Buttons.  I pleated 2 rows of pink crepe paper underneath...

And on a different note...

A friend from scrapbook.com asked if she could feature me on her blog this week.  You can see Laurie's first post here.  She posted some of her favorite pages of mine & had me answer a list of questions.  I love how she said, "Let's dig into the colorful and Zumba-filled world of Deana."  My reputation precedes me... LOL  She also asked for a favorite recipe of mine & she'll be featuring that this week, too.  Thanks again, Laurie.  That was fun!

Anyhoo... been creating quite a bit lately but since I have nothing I can post for awhile, I thought I'd make something for fun using a combination of left-over stash that's been laying on my craft table.

Just bits of Echo Park, Bella Blvd, Bazzill Basics, Pink Paislee, We Are Memory Keepers, a SRM sticker sentiment & a Jolee's Boutique roller coaster sticker...

"Last Friday night... yeah we danced on table tops..."

I have another new fav song.  Yes, I know... I have many.  And the video rocks.  Who doesn't love to see the Running Man on the dance floor?  I busted into that move during the Mud Run when we got out of a mud pit & heard music blaring in the one lone spot on our course.  And the video... just a reminder of why I'm not in a big hurry for Bryn to grow up.  Not that I ever attended any parties similar to this.  Ahem.  

And Darren Criss... love him.  When he sings on Glee, I get goose bumps.  

Ok then.  Moving on. 

I used these photos for a special project I was working on for Nikki Sivils a couple months ago.  Since I won't get the original layout back, I thought I'd use them on a different page for the scrapbook.  So... when you see these same photos again for another reason, just smile & nod.  Or run away screaming from your computer.  I won't know either way...

 

 

Just a mix of mostly Bella Blvd + Bazzill Basics... and some other random things for good measure.  ;-)

Off to run.  And then if the rain ever quits... to the pool with friends.  It's not looking good though... poo.

Have you checked out the SRM Stickers blog recently?  Today is the final day of the Bazzill Basics feature on their blog.  On Monday I posted the page I made using some of Bazzill's new patterned paper, fabric flowers & buttons.  If you missed it, you can see it here!  I thought I'd use some more of their flowers on this page too, along with some My Little Shoebox and Bella Blvd...

I also used my Glossy Accents on all 3 drink glasses to add a little dimension.  I really do love that stuff...

 

I also seem to be loving my corner rounder lately.  That tool seems to make it's way onto all of my pages lately in some way or another!

SRM Stickers + Bazzill... a sweet combination

SRM Stickers is featuring projects created with Bazzill Basics products on their blog today through Wednesday.  Bazzill was very generous with the SRM Stickers team and recently sent us lots of fun patterned paper, cardstock & embellishments!

In addition to my Easter-themed SRM Stickers... I also used the Grandma's Kitchen paper pad, a fabric flower, several buttons & 2 adhesive pearls... 

 

 

 

I love the fun patterns & colors included in the Grandma's Kitchen paper pack.

 

Thank you again to Bazzill for your generosity!  We already knew you made fabulous cardstock, but it's fun to see all the cute embellishments available too!  The fabric flowers are definitely a new FAV!

"Don't stop... keep it moving... put your drinks up..."

Hopefully you're not tiring of seeing the Playground line yet, because this is now the 3rd page I've made using the 12x12 paper pack I received from Echo Park a few weeks ago.  If you are tired of it, I'm sorry to say there will probably be more.  I still have more left & I can't help myself.  I'm finding the bright colors & patterns of this line to be highly inspiring.  And since that doesn't always happen for me, I'm rolling with it.  :-) 

 

In addition to the Echo Park products, I also used both sets of letter stickers from the Nikki Sivils' Summer line, some SRM Sticker birthday sentiments and two Bazzil Just The Edge cardstock border strips.  I also added some of my bakers twine for my "balloons"... because I have to reduce my lifetime supply a little bit at a time, you know.  

And can I just say that was one fun night?  Friends that I love, never-ending laughter, dancing & singing like crazy people... the perfect night as far as I'm concerned!  

Must do it again soon...  

More ways to use packaging...

Here's a fun way to use leftover chipboard packaging on a greeting card.  I started with packaging from these round chipboard pieces after they had all been punched out...

 

I pleated some pink crepe paper, added my green Bazzill Half the Edge border strip on top & then machine-stitched over it to set my grid in place.  Then I just embellished inside the empty circles with random items & SRM birthday stickers found here & here... 

 

 

 

It's a fairly big card (6x7), so I'll probably have to make my own envelope for it.  If you wanted though, you could just cut your grid down to only 4 or 6 circles for a smaller-sized card.   

Planning to run & vote today.  Right now I'm off to get crafty.  Maybe that will make my headache go away...

Bazzill... there's a BAZZILLION ways to use their products...

SRM Stickers is featuring Bazzill  on the blog today.  Bazzill was very generous with our team and sent us lots of fun things to create with earlier this year. 

I've used quite a bit of what they sent, but here's what I recently made using their Just the Edge border strips, some cardstock & their cards + envelopes sets...

The stamp is a 2004 Stampin' Up stamp (& you already know I found a new reason to love my old stamps... patterned paper!)...

 

I also used my Glossy Accents for the heels, belt & sunglasses.  Love that stuff!

Just finished running & doing my interval class at the Y.  Bob & I are going up to school to surprise Bryn with lunch in just a bit (a burger & fries from Steak n Shake... her favorite), before going out to lunch ourselves.  Tonight, Bryn is going to her friend's Halloween party, so Bob & I are going to grab dinner at a restaurant in the area before returning to pick her up.
