So very thankful for Bryn... today & every single day. Becoming a mother was the single best thing I have ever done in my whole life. I will be forever grateful to her for coming into my life... she is such a loving, beautiful soul. Today is as much about her, as it is about me... for every day, she carries my heart with her. For as long as I live, I will never forget the day she was born. She was crying & crying & crying. Since I had a scheduled c-section because she was breech, it took an extra long time before they could bring her over to me. I was crying just listening to her cry across the room. I will never forget when I said, "Hi Sweetie..." that she immediately stopped & just listened. It was the absolute most amazing moment of my life. She knew my voice. It was comforting to her. From the moment she came into my body & life, our souls were intertwined...
It's nice to have a special day to go out to lunch at my favorite place, receive gift cards for the spa & for smoothies, pretty flowers & Dark Raisinets... but honestly I don't need it. She tells me every single day multiple times that she loves me. I still get hugs + kisses all the time, & she is forever writing me love notes & coloring beautiful pictures for me. I know I am loved and that's all I need.
Happy Mother's Day...
